Fans of horror games have plenty to look forward to this year, as The Callisto Protocol nears the end of development. You’ll be able to venture through this terrifying space adventure before the end of the year, but when exactly will this grace our screens? Let’s take a look at what we know currently about The Callisto Protocol, as well as when it will be coming to consoles.

The Callisto Protocol Release Date

You’ll be able to venture into this new and exciting horror world on December 2nd, 2022 on current and last generation consoles and PC. While originally taking place in the PUBG universe, it looks as if the world has branched out a bit further than expected and is now taking place on The Black Iron, learning what has caused these monsters to overtake this prison. What caused this infection to happen, and what can we expect to come across in our adventures? We’ll be able to find out very soon!

The Callisto Protocol Timeline

Originally revealed back in June 2019, it seems like many different changes have come through its development, allowing the developers to create and craft an interesting narrative. While working endlessly through the COVID Pandemic, they’re ready to finally show the world a new breed of horror this December. You’ll be taking control of Jacob Lee as you make your way through this terrifying adventure, as you attempt to learn what is going on in this world.

Showcasing their gore engine, you’ll find creative ways to dismember your foes, and cause as much damage to them as possible while avoiding a messy end for yourself. You’ll have many different weapons at your disposal, as well as different ways to navigate this world.

You’ll be able to make your way to this new colony and explore the world when The Callisto Protocol releases on December 2nd, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
